Bendigo Bank - an asset to our community
On 8th August we had the pleasure of a visit from our local manager from Bendigo Bank, Jeff Kimber. Jeff gave an interesting talk on the contribution that Bendigo Bank has made in the local communities from its banking operations on the Mornington Peninsula.
The Dromana branch is part of Rye and District Community Financial Services Ltd, a company which encompasses Rye, Dromana and Rosebud community bank branches.
Little did we know that this Community Bank has contributed millions of dollars to the local community from its share of profits earned by local joint venture with Bendigo Bank Ltd which began in 2001 with the opening of its branch at Rye.
